CDM Co-ordination
We supply CDM Coordinators with a thorough knowledge of both design and construction processes and current Health & Safety practices. All our CDMCs are suitably qualified and have extensive experience of all construction disciplines. We mitigate risk by fully addressing all foreseeable construction, maintenance and dismantling issues during the design stage of the asset.
In addition to the traditional CDM Coordinator role we also provide:
- Site auditing including independent auditing of third party stakeholders such as contractors and delivery of confidential reports.
- Development of documentation including CDM Manuals and bespoke Health & Safety File systems incorporating Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
Our people have such a depth of expertise that they regularly innovate new solutions. For example, we go beyond site waste management plan requirements to encourage designers to quantify materials accurately before they are ordered for a site. The elimination of over-ordering reduces procurement costs and the costs of waste removal and disposal.
We also think creatively about where risks can arise and how they can be eliminated.
Our skilled people take the long view on any project. We assess the constructability of buildings as well as ongoing maintenance requirements and eventual demolition considerations. We ensure that all these elements meet all legislative requirements.
All of our CDM Coordinators bring deep technical knowledge of how buildings will perform across their entire life cycle. This equips them to execute rigorous design reviews and to suggest meaningful refinements that make a real impact on cost and quality.
